Capital pools widen
The markets have been good to India, and the country has levered this in attracting
doses of capital, widening the risk appetite of capital, with the fortune of domestic
growth appetite, apart from valuations. While the current capital dynamic could
well appear relatively optimistic given the state of markets in general and thus
prone to reversals and shocks, but the widening of capital pool, deepening of
markets and sharpening risk appetite only add to the new edge of the economy,
and its ability to fund growth and opportunities. There may be roadblocks, but
there is no turning back.
